Our story

About us – Trailer construction with tradition and innovation

Over 40 years ago, Horst Söte laid the foundation for our family business. With great passion and craftsmanship, he founded the trailer construction company in his garage. What began as a small sole proprietorship quickly developed into a sought-after provider in the region.

Due to the high demand and continuous growth, Horst and Waltraud Söte decided in 1983 to move to the current premises “Am Alten Markt 32” This paved the way for the transformation from a one-man operation to a medium-sized company. In 1983 and 1995, new halls were built there, creating sufficient space for the implementation of customized trailer solutions. At the same time, both the machinery and the number of employees grew. Waltraud Söte took over accounting and played a central role in the company's administrative department.

A decisive moment came in 2014, when the company founder and father Horst Söte died unexpectedly. His daughter Sylvia Mählmann, who had grown up in the company with trailer construction and service, succeeded him. Trained as an electrician and office clerk, and with a successfully completed master craftsman's examination in electrical engineering, she was ideally prepared to take over the business. Since then, she has led the company with vision and commitment. second generation – always with the aim of delivering the highest quality and fulfilling individual customer requirements.
